Biopics
Before I heard anyone else say it, I always thought the word ‘biopic’ was pronounced ‘bye-OPP-ik’.  I still have to correct myself when I see the word. (I’m not crazy, right?  Think about how we pronounce ‘biography’.)

Merry Christmas!
A four-year old girl that my sister looks after during the day apparently woke up this morning thinking that it was Christmas Day.  She started crying when her parents finally convinced her that it actually wasn’t. I thought this was heartbreaking and really cute at the same time.

At work today, the number 88 came up.  The reason isn’t important (but if you’re a completist, it was the final number of pages in a brochure).  I won’t tell you right now what I immediately thought of, but I thought it was obvious. I asked all the people around me what the first thing that ‘88’ made them think of was.  Some people said ‘Two Fat Ladies’...
