Electronic - Second Nature (Later…With Jools Holland, 1996)
I remember seeing this at the time and really liking it but I didn’t know who they were. Yes, I know now but, by that time, I couldn’t link them back to this song.
But the song stuck with me for years. It would pop into my head every few months but no-one that I tried to sing or hum or describe it to knew the song. I could only really remember the melody, not the lyrics, which didn’t help.
Nine years later, I heard it again on the radio and nearly cried with joy when they told me that it was by Electronic. I bought the album the next day and being able to watch this performance again is like magic.
