My hotel room in Edinburgh is really strangely-shaped. It has two 6 feet deep alcoves with a window in each of them and this big block of wall in the middle that I can’t work out the purpose of. It gives the room really interesting lighting though. Update: I found my room when I was going past the hotel in the taxi to the airport. The big block of wall is part of a huge battlement at the top of the building. I couldn’t get a photo, though.
