Hundred Reasons — My Sympathy
From the few people I know who either are aware of or like Hundred Reasons, this is not a well-known song. It was never a single and it was from their second album, which got them kicked off their label.
But it’s been my favourite songs of theirs since I first heard it. I love the chord progression in the chorus, which sounds intense and passionate (to me, at least) and I like that it’s in 3/4 (or maybe that’s why I like it so much).
I’ve heard this song described as ‘sludgy’ before, but I love it and I always want to listen to it again when it’s finished.
