Getting back to my car after work and being ‘attacked’ by three little white Scottish Terriers that the owner was letting run around the empty car park.

They ran all the way across the car park towards me, barking all the way, and then all three were jumping up around my legs, none of them getting higher than my knees, while the owner and I laughed about it.

Two of them let me stroke them, but the older one, who the owner told me was deaf, wouldn’t let me. He jumped up around me but always backed away when my hand got near his head.

Then, when I finally got free to start walking away, the old deaf one started barking and running towards me again, which caused the other two to do the same, and then the whole process was repeated.

I want a dog.

Asleep in the Sea — Butterflies

Asleep in the Sea are one of those bands that you only find out about after they’ve already broken up. At least that way you don’t have to go through the disappointment of witnessing the end but, from the few reviews of them you can find online, they sound like they would have been great to see live. Everything about their songs tells you how much fun they seemed to be having all the time.

I waited five minutes for someone to walk past, to get them in the frame, but there weren’t too many people around this morning and it was cold, so I just took it anyway. Dedication.
